Macerata & Ascoli Piceno

Macerata & Ascoli Piceno are two of the most historic and beautiful towns in the Le Marche area.

Macerata is North West of "Casa Renzo" and is a walled town with a huge weekly market that specialises in local leather goods, shoes and shirts.

The town is full of excellent cafe bars, restaurants and shops that sell the latest named fashions.

Also there are a number of art shops selling original art by local artists.

Ascoli Piceno is South East of "Casa Renzo" and has the most incredible architecture.

The main square is said to challange the famous St Marks Square in Venice for it's beauty and historic relevance.

At the opposite side of the square to the picture you see, is a wonderful cafe bar that has a restaurant upstairs for lunches and dinners. It is very reasonably priced and serves fantastic Italian cuisine.
